About Us

We are a group of friendly people of all ages who share a love of the countryside, particularly that we are blessed with in around Tunbridge Wells.

The Tunbridge Wells Ramblers offer many walks in the beautiful High Weald and also further afield during the year.  These are usually on Sundays and range from 4 to 7 miles with experienced leaders and friendly company.  We also have Thursday evening walks in the summer, starting at about 7pm, details of these are issued to members of the Tunbridge Wells Ramblers

We are renowned for our welcome to new walkers - try walking with us a couple of times before deciding whether to join the Ramblers.

Volunteers from the group act as Footpath Secretaries in every parish and help to keep the network open.

Our Patch

The red outline on the map shows the extent of the Group's area.   New members within this area are allocated to Tunbridge Wells Group unless they choose otherwise.  Members can be allocated to whichever Group they choose but can in any case join any walk organised by any Group whether in Kent or elsewhere in Great Britain.

Good walks

There are lots of good walks in our patch.  It is interesting to see how the same walk can change,  just by doing it in a different season or by reversing the route.
Some are best in a particular season, with the bluebell walks and the Christmas ramble being particularly popular.
